ruby and i decided to visit and reunite with the missing 1/3 of our triplet in lincoln. lincoln is such a nice city with great atmosphere. the city made use of its old buildings, old juxtaposed with contemporary architecture.
after all that walking around, we decided to fill ourselves with delicious food from an australian pub restaurant called walkabout before we brave the steep hill. after a mental debate with myself, i decided to have their bbq burger instead of their kangaroo steak (too broke for steak ha), i thought i'd just have the burger but they also gave us sides, chips and salad. totally worth the £7.45!
going up the steep hill (more like a mountain!), we came across different types of cute little shops. copying ruby, i also bought my mom some chocolates for mother's day.
on top of the steep hill is a beautiful cathedral and apparently it was once the tallest building on earth.
our trip to lincoln is such a short stay, i'd love to go back and catch up with the girlies and do more tourist-y stuff together.
